Urethane coating

Intermediate transfer belt system is commonly adopted among the transfer method of color copy machines. Transfer belt drive roller is one of the most important parts in the intermediate transfer belt system.

In order to keep the intermediate transfer belt system operating efficiently, the transfer belt drive roller needs to generate precise frictional force achievable by urethane foam coating on surface of the roller.

Both urethane and urethane foam coating are thin so they do not cause significant dimensional change of the roller diameter. This helps to ensure durability of the part.

Urethane Coating (Conductive, Non-conductive)

Foamed Urethane Coating (Non-Conductive)

High friction coefficient – useful for applications requiring high friction force; elasticity from foam ensures stability of friction over life


Ceramic Coating

An even higher coefficient of friction can be achieved with ceramic coating. This application is highly suitable for products requiring abrasion resistance.

Useful for applications requiring grip force and abrasion resistance
